Younger brother of artists Martin and Glenn Turner.

In the early 70's Kim began his professional musical career within the extended Wishbone "family", first playing drums with Miles Copeland-managed band Cat Iron.
He then played drums with Andy Fraser (ex-Free) and appeared on the all star Mandalaband album alongside members of 10cc and Barclay James Harvest.
Ex guitarist and pianist for Alternative TV, Kim was with the band from December 1977 to May 1978. Kim then joined up and coming band the Police as road manager and sound engineer.

Sadly Kim passed away on May 12th 2003, following a brave fight against cancer.
