Klutes full length LP Lie, Cheat & Steal has to be my best D album in years. The tracks all have elements that make them either funky, soulful, intelligent, heavy, deep or just downright nasty! An incredible collage, with this release most certainly expanding on the genre, providing needed progression. Ive often found Klutes single releases to be more shallow, but the album sure hits the mark. Evo Sniffer is just pure heavyweight bizness, Ambient Hell has the most georgeous vocal samples since Foul Play in 94, and Song Seller the deepest roller of the decade. Nuff said.
