Real Name:Daniel Roeth & William Grey
Profile:Koan are Daniel Roeth and William Grey, both based in Moscow, Russia. In early of 90's Daniel begun spinning vinyls and playing acid trance & hard techno at closed underground partyes in night Moscow. William Grey very long time programming samplers, computers and producing some demo-scene works as sound-designer. In 1995 the duo met and begun working together. They launched two independent projects: Koan for ethnic lounge, ambient cinematographic & documentary scores and Vacuum Stalkers for more progressive / tech sound compositions. During 1995-2005 this talented duo have produced a handful some been kept in the drawer, some released and received great responses in the local Moscow scene.
