Komakino is a german techno - group that exists since 1989.
They are one of only a few groups that survived the mass of faceless one-hit projects over the years. From the beginning, they always played live at countless raves and club-events in and around germany ( even in Zagreb, Athens, Barcelona, ... ).
Their first big success was "Outface" on the "Energy Trance E.P." which became one of the greatest rave-hymns ever. Komakino was always a great promoter for the popularity of techno-music, especially trance.
Komakino was founded in 1989, when Ralph Fritsch (22) and Detlef Hastik (24) met at the "Technoclub" / Dorian Gray, Frankfurt Airport, and decided to work together, knewing
each other from former piano-lessons.

The first release as Komakino was on Suck Me Plasma in 1990 and it was called "Sector One". After this followed "Sector Two", "Out of the Dark" and the "Energy Trance E.P." containing the club-hit "Outface", which was re-released in 1995 on Intercord Records, a division of EMI, UK. Also on Intercord was "Feel the melodee" in 1994. Other releases of Komakino are "Ynos-chill out sector"
as well as all "Final Fantasy" and "Influid" releases. They also produced, arranged and mixed Sunbeam's "Outside world" and "High adventure".
Komakino's remix-list contains names like Dune, Captain Hollywood, Boytronic, Joachim Witt and many more...
Komakino is a very experienced act. They have played on all important raves in Munich, Berlin, Zagreb, Frankfurt, Basel; they were support act for The Prodigy in 1994 and have also played in Italy, Spain, Istrien and Greece.
