Seb Komor has looked at the night clubs across the world- and found something missing.
"I got tired of hearing club music thinking that I could make this harder or that it needs more kick", says Komor, arguably the most prolific producer & creator behind some of the most notable acts in today's electronic music, including ICON OF COIL, ZOMBIE GIRL, BRUDERSCHAFT and MOONITOR among others. "I thought, I want to make club music that people will lose their minds to and basically scream, stomp and go absolutely insane! Losing it while testing the sound systems, you know?"
So begins his tongue-in-cheek vision of KOMOR KOMMANDO, Seb's party yet political answer to underground club music. And his plan to bring the true club experience live audiences come to fruition with this project.
And what better person to help bring 2K live to audiences on dance floors than with a top ranked DJ? END: THE DJ has grown up to club music. After leaving the Electronic dance music scene, and when the Wax Trax! era passed, he found something lacking- until discovering Komor's music in 2001. Then he found a reason to DJ again. "I remember hearing the Moonitor remix of IOC's 'Serenity is the Devil'", says END, "and that was it. THAT, I thought, is the missing link of this music I love. Seb became my favourite producer instantly. So the chance of helping him out with 2K [Komor Kommando] was a no-brainer. Bringing the club party vibe to a live set? Sign me up. Let's do this."
"Yeah, End & I, we just kinda started ripping into what was good and mostly shit about a lot of the music and the people who abuse it, artists & people alike", Komor says.
