Reviews & Discussion

Review by CenkAkyol Oct 10, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
With the beginning of millenium IDM and Drill'n bass tried to be blended with breakcore by the newcomers and breakcore scene exploited(which has come to the point where the long time running discussion started in c8.com forum, opened by Cristoph Fringeli). But even this exploited breakcore scene, Kovert came out with his original breakcore releases plus very rare dj sets and mixtapes. Dark, hard hitting and dancable!!! His music and djing has nothing to do with other newcomers who just produces some drills and noises in which music changes every 2-3 seconds. I hope Kovert won't change his line. His track ''No Surrender'' from Praxis U.S.A. can be a very good reference for what real breakcore was and is.
