| Profile: | LA Symphony is a Hip-Hop collective from Los Angeles, California. The current members of L.A. Symphony are FLYNN, UNO Mas, CookBook, Joey the Jerk, and Sharlok Poems. Past members include Pigeon John, bTwice AKA the Inglewood President of the Brainwash Projects, J-Beits AKA Great Jason and Trendi MC (who compose Halieyoos Fishermen with Sharlok Poems), Xpress, Gaja and Beond of Acid Reign.
Formed in 1997, the band released their first album, 1999's "Composition #1" on independent record label Eartube Empire (set up by group Member Flynn). They then recorded an album entitled "Call It What You Want" for Squint Records, containing tracks produced by the band and by Mario C, Will.I.Am and Prince Paul. However, this album was never released. After a number of Promo E.P's, 12"'s and label problems, the Symphony finally got out their official sophmore LP, 2003's "The End Is Now" (released on Gotee Records). The Symphony went on to release one more E.P ("Less Than Zero") and in 2005 released thier third LP, entitled "Disappear Here".
