LaTour

Bud Latour

Real Name:
William LaTour
Profile:
After arriving in Chicago in 1987, William "Bud" LaTour immersed himself into the dance music community. He worked in the recording studio with innovative and talented artists during the birth of house and industrial music. By 1991 LaTour became a solo electronic artist. Introverted and mysterious, LaTour music caught the ears of dance music fans around the world. He had charted seven dance singles from two albums in the early 1990s. Latour has appeared on BBC's Top of the Pops, MTV's Spring Break and Beavis and Butthead, NBC's Nightline and HBO's Sex Show. Latour found himself on CNN, MSNBC and PBS talk shows, explaining the meaning behind his controversial lyrics. Films, television, news and radio programs through out the world feature the classic and current music of LaTour. The dance single "Blue" was featured in the movie Basic Instinct and a recent televison episode of ABC-TV's Alias (2003).
