Personally I got a bit tired of their rhetoric. If you see it a little more closely it is a pattern that many already ripped off for their own ends (Rammstein for instance). Laibach will continue their dwelling in mud of self-indulgent politicising for life as there is no point of giving up so the only thing that remains provocative is their virtual propaganda aimed at totalitarianism always leaving the doors open to controversy of sorts.

Early recordings were shocking indeed, Tomaz Hostnik helped creating the image of a fearful regime-driven group exposing all sorts of horrors pulled from totalitarian politics (be it the nazis or especially communists) but as time went by, Laibach are no longer intriguing and their prototype dance-music lost it's challenging feel long ago. What they recently do is constant plagiarising - 'Tanz Mit Laibach' is a sad clone of far more effective DAF ('Der Sheriff'), constant covers from the last couple of albums and singles alike are witnessing their symphonic techno-rock is way deep into pathetic attempts of giving sense to dreadful songs like 'In the Army Now', 'Life is Life' or 'The Final Countdown'... On the other hand, their English sounds horrible. The way it turned out to be, they probably experineced the similar path as Joy Division with the suicide of their lead singer but while New Order continued in a respectfully subversive pop tune, Laibach became a dead end in itself - a worn-off synthesis between a certain past and unknown future.

Here is it. one of the industrial mastermind of all times truly a legend. Laibach gave music another approach. Laibach dare to confront listener with the mythology of history through the art of electronic music.
truly a vanguardist even today. their music and ideas conformed the roots of what now is considered "martial industrial or military industrial".
their works are so varied and absolutely impredictable that are really hard to explain.
from extreme noise to sampling from sampling to intelligent techno and back again. their best works are considered by many their bombastic assaults of machinery and orchestation. their later works are more subtle and less anthemic.
