Started out as a punk drumer in local bands in his hometown Bodø in the late 70´s. Early 80´s he started his solo punk project Skjit-Lars. At the same time he has played and still perform with other bands and projects. Started early in the 80´s also a noise, industrial music solo project called Nervøse Lidelser.
