Larger than life Australian, club host at Taboo, fashion designer and , later on, a life model for Lucian Freud and performance artist/singer with Minty. For many years he was the face of 80s London nightlife. Bowery famously sported an outlandishly different look each week at the club - ranging from melted candle wax on his bald head, or a pair of wings - to simply crawling along the floor naked.

Born in Sunshine, Australia 26 March 1961, died in Middlesex Hospital, London 31st December 1994.
