Electronic future jazz/nu-jazz project founded by DJ & drummer Marc Frank with singer & pianist Jochen Helfert.
Jochen had been playing Rhodes in a Brazil-jazz combo with Les Gammas' live bassist Pe Spier, where he was developing his own ideas of harmonics and sound. In 1999 Les Gammas played live in clubs and at festivals including "Fez Jazz Festival" in Bari, Italy, the "Wiesen Festival" in Austria, and "Jazz 2010" in Aarhus, Denmark.
Les Gammas have split to focus on different projects.
