Limbo, the personal project of
Gianluca Becuzzi, started in the mid 80s' with a pioneering crossover bewteen EBM and gothic. The early releases were issued on the legendary
Spittle Records, while the later by almost any Italian electronic/experimental labels, suchs as
Mantra Records (Italy),
Dune,
Helter Skelter Records and
Contempo Records.
Gianluca Becuzzi's interest has always concentrated on sexuality, rituals, the magic of
Aleister Crowley and esotericism in general. Towards the mid-90s'
Limbo radically changed its sound, heading in the direction of techno, goa trance and drum 'n' bass.
