Reviews & Discussion

Review by SoulTek Sep 15, 2004 (edited over 7 years ago)
By far one of my favorite producers and greatest inspiration in years. From the minds that brought us Basic Channel & Chain Reaction, they gave a home to this brilliant mind, wandering somewhere through the dub heavens, this inventor & pioneer of a sound we now refer to as "microhouse" has changed my thinking and forever touched my heart with his truly genious productions. With the creation of his "luomo" project on forcetracks, this is just a sheer reflection of his musical mindset w/proper usage of jazz (and not a boring lounge act form, truly unique) & rasta motifs (reminding me more of Jamaica than Finland!) to his refined "Pop House" sound we here on "The Present Lover" house with hidden dimensions & the sweetest vocal work since the inception of "Prince"!
Keep em' coming, Delay!
Cheers,
