Reviews & Discussion

Review by Another_Swede Oct 02, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
It's strange that I actually don't know more about Luther Vandross work but still he is one of my favorite singers. He just don't have a wonderful voice like many others but he's truly unique. If we are just talking about dance music he has been singing on several masterpieces which is undisputed classics! Starting with the Disco song "The Glow Of Love", 80's Soul/Disco bomb "Never Too Much" and together with Masters At Work the House track from 1998 "Are You Using Me". "Never Too Much" is really, REALLY the best song from the 80's, up there with Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody". Luther's warm & romantic sounding voice truly stands out amongst the average sounding dance music vocalists.
