ML's electronic sound is very humorous, almost cartoony and silly, but never too much. Their tracks sometimes sound similar to older Like A Tim (but more complex, more friendly, less deadpan, not so extremely in-your-face as Tim), some older Mu-ziq (M. Paradinas) (but less dnb/breaks, ML sound more electro/synthpop influenced). Occasionally they get strange melodies and timings (similar to early Freeform/Simon Pyke). I've always seen them play hardware live, and it seems that all three members are present performing. Great stuff, esp if you like complex, animated melodies programmed in entirely-electronic sounds. I wish some of it was on vinyl!
