Starting her career in early 70s with blues/funk band Cado Belle the Scottish "siren" had the biggest success as she was working with Mike Oldfield till 1989, since 1984 her own solo band with only husband Chrys Lindop (common son Fionnbharr Lindop-Reilly born in 1985) recording proper pop ballads, some ambient masterpieces and acappellas besides taking part in many other pop/ambient projects.
In 1996 was born a dance project MR or M.R. (the initials of Maggie Reilly) using songs with her voice that had also great success in the general dance scene. The originals and the mixes are running quite and taking a long breathe. The latest releases are the albums Save it for a rainy day and Rowan.
The hit "Everytime We Touch" was remixed and covered by other dance singers from Lacara and Cascada from 2002 until today.
