Mahotella Queens is a South African vocal group that formed in the mid-1960s as session musicians, but quickly evolved into a performing group in its own right, often paired with male vocalist Mahlathini. The Mahotella Queens' membership changed several times in its first two decades. Since 1986, the group has consisted of three of its original members: Hilda Tloubatla, Mildred Mangxola, and Nobesuthu Mbadu.
