nihil-distortion, Aug 05, 2006 Hail, Hail... Mainpal Inv. was a name used by Scandinavian, Goodiepal, in the years 2000 - 2002 mainly for the release of a 7”-series of manipulated jingle work called something like Mainpal Inv. Brands, which was not connected to any label. Around the same time, an A3 paper sheet was also distributed in London called the Code Breaker. It did look to me as if there should have been nine brand 7”s in the series but they have never materialised so far, at least I’m only aware of six: Carlsberg, Nokia, Statoil, Bang & Olufsen, Hitachi, and Chupa Chups.
Mainpal Inv. and Goodiepal seamed to disappear from the scene around the year 2002 but have recently been playing some shows around Europe.
