Profile:
Irish vocalist. Born in 1952 in Ireland and sister of Enya Brennan. Mainly in the field of folk and new age music. Best known as the lead singer of Clannad, she now records solo under a phonetic spelling of her name, Moya Brennan.

Her first four solo albums were released under the name Maire Brennan, her real first name (Máire), and the English version of her surname, 'Ní Bhraonáin'. Her fifth solo album, 'Two Horizons' was released in 2003, and recieved a Grammy nomination in the 'Best New Age Album' category.

She has since released 'An Irish Christmas', 'Signature' and in September 2008 is due to release 'Heartstrings', a live album recorded with the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Julie Feeney.
