Marcellus Fernandes

UK based Producer and Mixer. Fernandes grew up in humble surroundings in an environment rich in pop memorabilia, working with such diverse artists as Pink Floyd, Steel Pulse and Van Morrison. Next came a partnership with US rap exponent Dwayne Harris on the East Coast as he cut his teeth in the hip hop world as part of the production company Nu Funk working with the likes of Hank Shocklee, MC Lyte, Jocelyn Brown and many others. Upon returning to the UK this sound became much in demand as a shift in sonics towards R&B and Hip Hop became the norm. To this day Marcellus continues to be an exponent of experimental techniques and cutting edge music with a thirst for the new and exciting. Notable artists in which he has worked with include Hinda Hicks, E-17, Sérgio Mendes, Black Eyed Peas, Carlos Santana, Rhianna, All Saints, Sinéad O'Connor, Incognito, Pat Metheny, David Bowie, Erykah Badu, Babyface, Camelle Hinds and Mary J. Blige.
