Reviews & Discussion

To leave a comment on this god alike legend feels kind of stupid, words are not enough but I have to express my love and respect for this genius. Jefferson must be in the top 3 of most important and influential producers in the history of House music. Nobody have made as many classic productions as him (maybe Larry Heard), from Acid House to my favorite Jefferson vibe, positive feeling good piano House.
We all know his famous songs but he's been very productive and I'd like to recommend these records, all of them can be found in the secondhand box for no price at all but still they are rockin' and deserve to get picked up.

Kym Mazelle - Useless
By All Means - Somebody Save Me
Kechia Jenkins - I Need Somebody
Crown Heights Affair - I'll Do Anything

All his work as Umosia, not well know but excellent stuff.

If "Move Your Body" is the house music anthem then Marshall Jefferson must be the president!
