Mazi Namvar
Profile:
A prolific producer, Mazi's has released over 100 records in 14 years time, additionally creating music as Audio Soul Project and Studio Nova. Current original releases have appeared on Dessous, Systematic, Urbantorque, Circle Music, SAW and Brique Rouge.

Mazi has several ongoing collaborations including work with David Duriez as Mazi & Duriez, with Justin Long as Legion of Boom, with Kyle Szmurlo and Nathan Larsen as Wow & Flutter and with Cass as Badmouth. The latest Badmouth single, “Anymore” was licensed to Ralph Lawson’s Fabric 33 mix compilation and by Sander Kleinenberg for his Renaissance mixed CD.

Mazi is continually working on remixes. Recently his credits include Marc Romboy and Tyree Cooper’s “Lost” on Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings, Nick and Danny Chatelain’s “Sube Conmigo” on NRK, AlexKid & Chloe’s “Afterblaster” on Brique Rouge, Alexander Maier’s “Sahara Rain” on Mood Music and Chaim’s “C Factor” on Missive Recordings.

A DJ for 18 years, Mazi continues to tour the world while holding down residencies at Chicago clubs. As an A & R executive, Mazi presides over his record labels, Gourmet and Fresh Meat.
