Cellist Mera's first job in music was as keyboardist, and then also cellist, with The Garden of Dreams. She went on to play cello for Black Tape For A Blue Girl. She created her own solo project, Oblivia in 1988. She has since played with The Last Dance, Arcanta and Cassandra Complex. In 2000 she founded the band Mercurine, currently based in Los Angeles.
