Mercy Cage, The

The Mercy Cage, based in Tauranga, New Zealand, formed in early 1999 and have since earned themselves a reputation as the country's leading EBM band on record and live. Their first album, Wire, was released by numb/benign records in January 2000, and was followed by Rust: A Fiction on Mediatrix Publishing in late 2001. After several label delays, the band's third release, Scree:Transmissions found a home with DSBP in May 2005.
