Credited with being the first Turkish producer to release a dance music album at the tender age of 22 , Mert Yucel is no stranger to underground success internationally with his chart topping releases on record labels like Subversive , Dusk , Choo Choo , Plastic Fantastic , Baroque , Moxi , Kaos , Modo , Swift , Distraekt , Nascent and many many more. His tracks are always in the favorites list of the top names from house music scene like Danny Tenaglia , Steve Lawler , Danny Howells , Omid 16b , Jamie Anderson , Tony Thomas , Saeed Younan and as well as Lawnchair Generals and Tony Hewitt just to name a few.
With the success of the each release he did, Mert Yucel become a well known name in the electronic music scene all around the world. While working heavily in the studio remixing for some big names and producing his original projects , Mert Yucel decided to push the house sound from Istanbul and started his own label called DeepXperience Productions around 2005 with the motto of delivering quality house music without any borders. featuring releases from some established artists along side himself like Tyler Stadius , Tyler Lewis , Gideon Jackson , Alex Celler , Dave Mothersole , Goknil Gokmen and some up and new comer names like Onur Ozman and Ertug Ozturk.
And as a dancefloor rocker dj , his upfront unique style of blending different grooves of dance music with the feeling of excitement and pure driving, enabled Mert to stand out from many other djs and producers in his own country , Turkey ! Without being stuck into a simple genre , you can find all elements of dance music from Funky to Tribal , minimal to elektro and all the way to twisted edge of techno polished with full of suprising acapellas and fx'es which are in the most tight and seamless form...
