Classically trained vocalist, Mia Doi Todd began writing songs as a student at Yale University. Her first three albums were her alone with a guitar, all on small independent labels. Her fourth album was released on Sony Music Entertainment Inc., and consisted completely of reworkings of songs from her past three albums.
Mia Doi Todd lent her voice to a number of projects over the years, including a variety of Dntel projects, Folk Implosion, and others.
