Part Comanche, part Cherokee indian. Two time Native American Music Award Winner who's also won a Grammy in 1985 for "Best Album of Original Score Written for a Motion Picture" for "Beverly Hills Cop". Three time Grammy Nominee as member of Shalamar.
Has, among others, played and toured with Diana Ross, Prince and Janet Jackson.
Once discovered by KISS member Gene Simmons who has remained a good friend and mentor. After Micki split with Shalamar he went on to form his band Crown Of Thorns, featuring Jean Beauvoir and managed by Simmons and Paul Stanley.
