Mihalis Diamantopoulos started off his career in the early 90s as a founding member of Stereo Nova -a Hellenic electro group. His first solo project, T19, was created in the early 1996 including influences by Detroit's techno underground scene.
He made in late 1996 his first live appearance in Berlin, where his track The Picture became a massive hit. His first album Blue Emotions was released in 1999 by Glasgow Underground Recordings.
In June 2000, Mikael released the album Το Χρώμα Της Ημέρας -The Colour Of Day- with the kind help of Tania Tsanaklidou -a famous female Hellenic singer. This release helped him to launch a great international career.
In 2001, he came to an agreement with the French label Distance Records for the release of two albums; Halcyon Days & Vulnerable. Finally, Mikael has written the music score for several films and theatre acts.
But what remains the source of inspiration for this whole activity? As he explains us: "I am just an artist who creates music drawn from all kind of everyday sounds -nothing more". Although his music is played in clubs worldwide and despite the great success, Mikael insists that: "my music is a simple but quite strong means of expressing life values and existential personal research...".
