no_signal („no_signal” is an one-person project created in 2003 by Robert Skrzyński. Over 40 video-art works of this author are an answer for his need of experimentation with picture and sound. His creativity is not only teasured by polish labels (as audiotong, electropunkz, 77industry) but also some foreign such as abulia concepts (Germany) and Mp3Death (America). No_signal collaborates with variety of artists (beginning in Poland, ending in Iceland). He has on his account cooperation with Stereo Hypnosis, The Sleep Session, Vein Cat, D.Ch. Nojsens, Pleq and More. Because of the transparency of his style it is really hard to make an mistake in recognizing his works. The aching truth extracting from his art arouse a reflection and present a reality in absolutely different way than it was before. It gives you an opportunity to perceive the world by fascinated and full of madness eyes.
Mikrodepresja- is a second project of Robert Skrzyński. Under this name it came into beeing in 2002 but it existed before under variety of different names. Mikrodepresja join in itself ambient / click n’ cut / digital nosie / digital loop minimalism. He is known for such works as “mikrohałas” (2007, 77industry), “mininoise” (2007, 77industry),”|14|15|3.3.30||3:40||“ (2007, far from showbiz) and “last day of sun” (2008, I hate Mondays rec.). His tracks also appeared in many compilations such as “a candle’s golden glow. Darkwinter holyday compilation” (2007, darkwinter). Mikrodepresja collaborated with many polish artist (Selmes viragszirom, Pleq, Kill the liver). On his foreign account are such persons as Leif Jordansson from Sweden, S.AmO from Japan.From the less formal point of view, it should be said that mikrodepresja..s works are mirror image of his video activity under a name “no_signal”. The sounds created by the artist are full of unspecified melancholy and sadness which is present in every world..s being. The irregular and superficially chaotic music evoke a lot of opposing emotions and images which seems to be almost apocalyptic but there is always a note of hope…)
