Miles Tilmann

Miles Tilmann's music is unbelievable, gorgeous gorgeous stuff, very ambient... I am not usually into straight ambient but I would call this melodic ambient... some releases do have tracks with beats, which are also very nice, I do not want to bring out the dreaded "Boards of Canada comparison" but Miles Tilmann's music is the only stuff out there that comes close to evoking the same calibre of feeling as Boards of Canada's music does.

If you are new to Miles Tilmann, I recommend "Over and Through" or "3D Concepts Part 1" (the rest of the series, non Tilmann music is also very good) but all of his stuff is great.

Check him out if you are into melodic ambient/idm type music... he also has tracks on his website (above) which are worth getting if you like his sound.
