Reviews & Discussion

Review by MadMusicBox Aug 08, 2008
I used to like this group, but now, it seems like they've sacrificed all that made them unique just for money and fame. They do explore the style that people used to know them for, Jimmy Urine's astounding pitch range and all-out programming, Steve, Righ?'s skills with the guitar, Vanessa YT/Lyn-Z's bass, Kitty's blinding snares and psychotic break beats, and they still explore their old songs from time to time, and even when you're watching them from your computer, you can feel the reminiscence, but it's just not enough for people like me. I get the feeling that when Vanessa left the band, she took something with her that hasn't come back since. Granted, You'll Rebel To Anything is very impressive, but it seems that as soon as it hit the Billboard, their career went down the drain from there. I really wish they'd go back to the time when Jimmy and Steve,'s work as the Left Rights was quintessential MSI, but sadly, I know that won't happen.
