Mobin Master has global reputation in the house music scene, with a unique international sound with funky, soulful, afro, tribal, eastern and latin influences.
Surprisingly, Mobin is a full time doctor, and has continued his successful musical career on the side. He has released over 20 productions, played and charted by DJ's such as Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez, Dimitri from Paris, Louie Vega, Josh Wink, Liquid People, Jim "Shaft" Ryan, Seb Fontaine, and more.
His recent release on Bamboo, Tribal Funk 4, has been played by Steve Lawler, Yousef, Lottie and Antoine Clamaran, as well as DJ Gee at Bora Bora in Ibiza.
"Get Away With It" featured the vocals of Karina Chavez and became a club chart hit worldwide. It got played by Roger Sanchez, Liquid People, Jim "Shaft" Ryan and Audiowhores.
"Troubled Girl" - released under the name Master & Hess - is a cover of the latin house classic originally performed by Karen Ramirez and featuring the vocals of Diane Charlemagne. It has charted through out Europe, with plays from DJs such as Dimitri from Paris.
His percussive rhythms, funk, and upfront international sound can only be witnessed during his dynamic live DJ performances. He has rocked clubs around the globe including Chicago, Prague, London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne and more.
He is also known for his popular remixes for Madison Avenue, Supafly, Sgt. Slick, Disco Montego and Shakaya, which found their way on numerous charts and compilations. Producer of the year SA DMA 2003 and DJ of the year National DMA 2001.
On radio Soulgood on Sunday nights (Fresh FM) and provides mixes internationally for stations including Galaxy FM (London), Digital Groove (San Diego), Fresh FM (Adelaide), Nova (Melbourne and Perth).
