This is a gloomy dark ambient side project of the prolific Amercan sound Artist Cordell Klier.

With this project Mr. Klier focusses on the dirtier ends of underground music. Ghostly voices, droning, swelling textures, mixed with uncomfortably low frequencies.

This project was started in 1994 with *allegedly* the late David Barns (see monstrare x2CDR on Doctrine Insectvas; pre DOCTSECT). Many now speculate that David Barns was just a promotional gimic.

Cordell has since refused to respond concerning this alledged past member.

Monstrare has since done collabs with Wilt and an unreleased tape with the now defunct Thin Ice.
