Morrissey started his musical life as the lead singer in punk bands. He formed the band Sulky Young (he soon changed their name to The Tee Shirts), and then later he joined The Nosebleeds (which was formed in the early 70's under the name Wild Ram, but they later changed their name) together with Billy Duffy (of The Cult) replacing Ed Banger and Vini Reilly who'd left.
