Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Andrew Wood, Bruce Fairweather & Greg Gilmore.
The band formed by Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard following Green River splitting up. They received a lot of attention in Seattle and the beginnings of international interest with the 'Shine' EP. However, as they prepared to release their major label debut, the album 'Apple', lead singer Andy overdosed on heroin and died, leaving the band in shatters.
Stone and Jeff joined with Soundgarden's Matt Cameron and Chris Cornell (Andy's roommate) to record the 'Temple of the Dog' tribute album, which also featured a young Eddie Vedder on some of the tracks. This led, in turn, to the formation of Pearl Jam.
