Nachtmystium was formed by Azentrius in early 2000. Some of the music on early demo tapes was written as early as 1998, but the band was not established until early 2000. There have been a slew of session members over the years and there are still active session members to this day...but Nachtmystium is and always will be Azentrius. The purpose of Nachtmystium is to create the darkest, most depressing and hateful black metal possible...this goal will never change.
