Actually Narcotic Syntax can be perceived as a loose "band project". Depending on the result to be pursued, no matter what style, DJ/producer James Dean Brown always has been accompanied by artists of different musical backgrounds. Among them: Perlon founders Zip (Dimbiman + Pantytec) and Markus Nikolai (Morane), as well as Pink Elln (Sieg Über Die Sonne). Since April 2003 JDB and musician/producer yapacc represent the steady, diligent and meticulous production team for the future.
In case there's a need for incorporating certain sounds or instruments, JDB and yapacc invite other musicians to participate in the recording sessions. Up to now collaborations with the following artists – apart from miscellaneous vocalists – have been concluded successfully:
Ian Andrews, Tom Ellard (Severed Heads), Max Loderbauer (Sun Electric + Chica and the Folder), Carsten Skov (Señor Coconut)
Since late in 2003 Narcotic Syntax are propelling the realisation of an exciting, sensuous concept of blending song and club formats in cooperation with Robert Conroy from New York City, known as chanteuse for the glamorous trans-Atlantic easy listening music duo Misty Roses.
