Nash T

Real Name:
Nenad Trajkovski
Profile:
One of the Australia’s most respected producers and DJ’s, Nash T’s star has been rising over the past few years.

From producing tasty tunes to working packed dance floors every week, the boy’s future is looking bright indeed.

His career began in the studio at the tender age of 17 as a producer behind the 1997 dance smash, Burning Hands, with long time studio partner Chris Fraser. Reaching no 5 on the aria dance charts & getting snapped up on a large number of compilations, this tune put Nash on the radar of Australia’s clubbing scene.

The following release, Freedom Fighters (1998), on Sydney’s Bang On Records was well received by the trance heads, and was rumored to have been cained by none other then trance guru Paul Van Dyk

In 2000, after discovering the joys of house music, things turned dark – and tribal that is! A string of releases on the prestigious Vapour (as Bluephaze) & EQ records received rave reviews by the extremely hard to please progressive mafia.

His original productions have been supported by some of the biggest names in dance music, including scene titans Sasha, John Digweed & Deep Dish.

In 2001, “The Bell” by Bluephaze (Nashie’s progressive moniker) was included on the prestigious “Essential Mix” compilation (Sander Kleinenberg). Two of his tunes were also included on Kasey Taylor’s Balance CD.

His remixing skills were also put to show with a blazing remix of Endorphin’s “Sex and Violence”. Mr Endorphin liked the mix so much, that it was included on the album – the only mix to receive the honor.

Not content to rest on his laurels, Nash recently turned his skills produce a lush hybridesque remix for Perth Indie rockers Halogen. The tune “On a Bridge” is pending release on UK’s CP Recordings, and is already receiving a massive buzz in Europe.

As a DJ, Nash is never content with one sound. Be it rocking a room full of the break-beat massive, to playing all the flavors of house to the jackin’ house heads, he is at home in almost any club situation. The list of artists and DJs he has supported only testify to this fact: Nick Warren, Satoshi Tomie, Ferry Corsten, Binary Finary, John Creamer, NuBreed, Infusion , Phil K, Groove Terminator, Mark Dynamix, Paul Arnold, Friendly & Kid Kenobi are only sample of the top notch manipulators he plays along side on a regular basis.

2003 has seen Nash T play at Canberra’s biggest events, including the massive United Nation at Commonwealth Park.
2003 was also the year that Sydney came calling for a piece of the Nashie – in the guise of a set at the highly regarded ‘Sweetchilli’ event. The punters were so impressed that he was quickly snapped up for a second appearance!

June also saw Nashie showcase his talents to all of Australia, via a set on the much coveted JJJ mixup
