Natacha Atlas (born 20 March 1964 in Schaerbeek, Bruxelles) is a Belgian singer, daughter of an English Ashkenazi Jew mother and a Moroccan Sephardic Jew father, with ancestral and family links to Egypt, Palestine and Morocco.
Having moved around the world for most of her life, living in Bruxelles, Egypt, Greece and England (Northampton), her experience of different cultures has most certainly influenced her music. Her speaking voice has a strong London accent - not what you'd expect.
