Their debut album "Brain-State-In-A-Box" does have its fair share of datedness; still, it's a genuinely emotional piece of ambient techno with undeniable charm and melodic qualities. The follow-up "Modernité", a concept album of sorts, delivered what the first album promised and belongs in the canon of 90's ambient music; it could easily have been one of the better discs on Fax. Instead it's one of those obscurities that only a few rabid collectors of electronic listening music know about.
A Neural Network album was also scheduled for release on the Belgian KK label, but it never saw the light of day, which maybe was a shame. Anyway the group split in the latter half of the 90's; Jostein Dahl Gjelsvik continued to make ambient music in the very excellent Circular project (together with Bjarte Andreassen), whereas Oddgeir Hvidsten and Lars Kristian Sande formed Motion Control and released minimal techno and then some sleazy house music with more mixed results.
