Wouter has been active in the dance scene since the mid nineties. It all started off with his own radio show on groundbreaking pirate station Radio Aktief. Wouter was active as an electro DJ at the time and he introduced the sounds of Aphex Twin and I-F amongst others and to a new crowd. Wouter's passion for producing electronic music went hand in hand with a huge collection of electronic instruments. You name it , he had it and his expertise was often called upon by labels and producers. At this point, Wouter considered his work not good enough so it remained, much to the disappointment of many labels, unreleased.
In 2004 Jan Liefhebber, DJ and owner of Highland Beats, asked for Wouter's help with a remix project and a winning team was born.
Since then the duo have been in huge demand, landing deals on prestigious labels including X-Trax, Fresh Grind and HzTrax.
Nimbuz has definitely caught everybody's attention with a battery of prestigious remixes including remixes of the DJ Misjah & Groovehead classic Trippin' out and Hertz' mega hit Breaker.
Nimbuz also performs live. His debut performance at Teqnology went down a storm for being so powerful and energetic.
