Emerging from the Alaskan psychedelic/noise underground in 1996, Nommo Ogo has continued as a recording entity and a cult live act. Utilizing older hardware sequencers and synthesizers, melded with electro-acoustic processing, they invoke a seething vortex of sound. They are highly regarded as a live experience, with an ongoing tradition of sonic rites performed in remote outdoor locations. Their recorded output further expands upon this live material, opening up immersive sonic geometries for the listener. Currently based out of Oakland, California.
