This is singularly one of the BEST TECHNO TRACKS EVER! What makes it so great? It really defies explanation. It's just such a bangin' track that I don't think I've ever heard and I'll never hear anything like it again! It's hardcore before the sub-genre got its name, and it's frankly harder than the hardcore that I've heard since. Just because you add distortion and make it go faster doesn't mean (to me) that it's "harder", this shit is like diamond! As with everything else, names got to be too convenient in the post-1995 techno world, and in '94 and much of '95, hardcore seemed to define what I called "hard acid" (circa anything on Drop Bass Network), so it was a misnomer to begin with.
