Nygel Reiss, a.k.a. Yuri Wesseling, came to life July 26, 1972 in the Netherlands.
At the age of 4 he already began to experiment with music. Influenced by groups like New Order, Depeche Mode, Mantronix, Front 242, The Klinik and A Split Second. He started to work as light- and sound engineer at 16 and bought his first sampler. This job helped him to work his way into a famous Belgian discotheque as a light jockey. Meanwhile he build up his own studio. Joyrider was born and Bonzai Records soon produced several hits. Nygel and Dj Ghost met, with some great projects as result. After Under Pressure he signed up with Bellboy Records and N.E.W.S. . Among others some of his releases were mixed on compilations by DJ Tiësto, Seb Fontaine and Chris Cowie. In 2006 he signed up up with Ghoststyle.
