Formed in the early months of 2003, October Man was originally a three piece. October Man's first few tracks featured more guitar. After a few months one member left leaving Dave and J. to develop the music into a more electronic and occassionally experimental sound. Most of the tracks are recorded in a small bedroom on the outskirts of Durham City. They operate a small label called October Man Recordings.
