Odessa Soundfreaks

“Odessa Soundfreaks” is a techno duo from Odessa, Ukraine.
The project was created in summer 2006 by the Odessa electronic musician and DJ Alexey Gordienko aka Codename Guard. Alexey creates 3 tracks similar to detroit and tribal/groovy techno which have laid down a basis of new sounding - sounding in "soundfreak"-style. And in some days literally a known Odessa DJ and producer Ray Spirit (the real name - Andrey Smoroda, dealing with such music already for a long time), joins the project. Andrey and Alexey have already worked together before since they’d found many points of crossings of their sights and tastes in modern dancing music.
In such structure Odessa Soundfreaks create plenty enough qualitative tracks, varying between groovy, punchy and tribal down to electro techno, with a little detroit-sound sometimes.
