Was owner of the Hertford, UK, record shop and label PM Recordings (Parliament Music). His early releases are under the name of Splice (2). The name Omni Trio first appeared on a release from another of Rob's labels Candidate Records, this caught the ear of Hertford based trio 2 Bad Mice who were existing Moving Shadow artists who introduced Rob Haigh to label boss Rob Playford.
