It's time someone comments on the fine work Olivier Raymond delivered over the years. After the massive Change Works / Domino Slam on Speicher 34 his name rings a bell with many more Music Lover's worldwide than ever before...To those i point out that Oxia released at least one very beautiful melodic Techno Tune every year since 2000 !
Besides releases on his own french Good Life imprint (with The Hacker) he released 2 EP's for both Monoid and for Carl Cox INTEC Label. These rate among the highlights of these fine label's output . Basically you can always grab any EP with OXIA witten on it.
Just look how many Compilations and Mixed CD's choosed his pretty rare tunes.
Hits you shouldn't miss by Oxia are already a handful by now : Troisieme, Inspiration, Bouni, Dark Groove, Source , Chrono and Nation all have that special melodic drive you can hear so well on "Change Works" & "Domino§.
I am sure Doio will be among the Top Hits of 2006 (although smoe people say he borrowed 8or stole) a lot from Patrick Chardonney, but if you listen carefully this ain't true. you could also say : "Eve By Day" sounds like "Ihre Persönliche Glücksmelodie" and both sound like "Jaguar" .
