Paolo Aliberti

Paolo Aliberti began his DJing career at the end of the 80’s playing in the clubs of his native city, Turin, in the north of Italy.

His intense passion for music lead him to open his own record-shop in 1995 and he built his own recording studio in the back with just an Expander, a Sampler and an Atari … just enough to get him started ! In 1999 Paolo began his collaboration with some of the most important dance record companies of that time: Media Records, Time Records and V2 Records.

In 2005 Paolo moved to Brescia with all his studio equipment where he started “72trax Productions” concentrating on his career as producer and remixer. Soon after he began collaborating with Melodica (Tambour Records) and the first project was the remix of the single by Ilona Mitrecey for the French record company Scorpio Music. The single sold over two million copies worldwide and was on top of the charts for several weeks in France and Europe. This lead to numerous remix requests including one of Italy’s biggest male artists - Tiziano Ferro.

He also worked under the name of Pornocult producing important remixes for key international DJs, such as Roger Sanchez, Leideback Luke, Robbie Rivera and more recently for Get-Far “Shining Star” a track which was released all over the world and thanks to the Pornocult remix soon crossed over into all the mainstream charts both in Europe and USA. It was voted most played record in France in 2007.

In march 2008 Paolo Aliberti gave his contribution to Alp vs Outwork “Fiesta Elektronika” with an amazing remix which was played by all the international djs during the WMC 2008, it reached top 3 on the Beatport Top 100 Download, with special support by Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclar & Eric Morillo who championed the track from the beginning.
